Pastor's Message

Turn to the Lord

Greetings my brothers and sisters in Yeshua our Messiah: We are living in perilous times, and many are seeking for answers. Our Heavenly Father is searching for those who will surrender all to the Lordship of His Son and perform His Perfect Will. The time is now for all believers to seek God's Face and take their place in the service of the Lord. For too long we have allowed denominational doctrines to divide the body of Christ. It is time to turn our hearts back to the Lord God Almighty and His Word and to become doers, and not hearers only.

Use His Word for His Purposes

It grieves the heart of God when we use His Word to our advantage. God has not given us His Word to build kingdoms unto ourselves or to compare ourselves against fellow believers. Philippians 2:12-13 states: "...work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God that worketh in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure." The purpose of His Word is to pierce our hearts, bringing us to repentance from our ways, which are sinful, and turn back to Him (Hebrews 4:12-13).

Allow the Word to Mold Us

The power of God's sanctification does not peak with our conversion experience; It begins there, and continues to hammer away at our attitudes and mind sets, convicting us of our sins and guiding us toward His righteous maturity: "Is not My Word like fire? says the LORD, and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?" Jeremiah 23:29. Having an intellectual understanding of God's Ways is not enough: we must have changed hearts in order to live out what we have heard. Before we can reach out to an unbelieving world, we must humble ourselves under the Hand of God and allow Him to mold us into vessels He can use.

Be Fervent in Prayer

There is a harvest to reap; souls to be delivered and infirmities to heal Believers, pray for God's power to be released bringing His restoration and deliverance to your life, your family, your congregation and your city. Pray for the leadership of your city and national governments. Pray for your pastors and those in church leadership. Do not criticize and find fault with them. Gird them up with prayer. Pray for an anointing to break spiritual yokes within your congregation.

Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem! Pray that God's Will be done in regard to Israel and the Middle East. Let the Body of Jesus Christ our Messiah arise and turn the world upside down, just as the early Messianic believers witnessed, exalting the Lordship of our soon-in-coming King!

My heart's desire is to see every believer experience the fullness of God's Power in their daily walk with the Lord. May our hearts yearn for Him, our lives reverence Him, our mouths worship Him and our hands serve for Him.

His Bondservant,
Dermathe LaVelle

Biography

Finding Purpose

At the age of seventeen, Dermathe experienced a divine encounter with God that left him shaken but unsure of his standing in God's eyesight. From that night forward, Dermathe was sure that God had a purpose for his life. Finding that purpose took five more years of struggle.

Preparation for Ministry

At the age of twenty-two the doors opened for Dermathe to enter ministerial training. He began serving as a janitor at a local church, a humble position that grew into that of a sound technician, then, an occasional worship leader, a youth minister and counselor and a Sunday school teacher.

Through each phase of training Dermathe felt the Lord calling him to minister to His people in a "hands on" fashion. Whatever need arose, God gave him the provision to meet it. Over the next several years the Hand of the Lord led Dermathe through various congregations and denominations from Pentecostal to Charismatic, in order to understand some of the many different aspects of contemporary Christianity. During a reflective period, the Lord prompted Dermathe to serve as an usher in a large Charismatic church in south Seattle, Washington.

Call to Radio Ministry

After another life-altering encounter with the Lord, Dermathe accepted God's Call to pastor a small congregation in Des Moines, Washington for over ten years. Since then, the Lord has turned Dermathe's attention to full time radio ministry.

Blessings

Dermathe is the proud father of an elder daughter, a student at a private University in Washington, and another son that serves in the military. His passion in life is to motivate people to take spiritual action and pursue a Higher Calling in Jesus Christ.
